If you love the bold, savory flavors of your favorite Japanese steakhouse, this hibachi-style shrimp brings all that magic straight to your backyard. Juicy shrimp are seared on a hot Blackstone griddle with butter, garlic, and a quick mix of soy, teriyaki, and lemon juice—creating a caramelized glaze that’s packed with umami. It’s a fast, flavor-packed dish that’s perfect for weeknight dinners, backyard cookouts, or pairing with hibachi-style fried rice and veggies.

Ingredients:
1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp avocado or vegetable oil
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp garlic, finely minced
Salt and white pepper, to taste
Juice of ½ a lemon
2 tbsp soy sauce, adjust to taste
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce, adjust to taste
Preparation:
Heat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the surface with avocado or vegetable oil.
Place shrimp directly onto the hot, oiled griddle and add the butter. As the butter melts, toss to coat the shrimp evenly.
Immediately add the minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and white pepper. Cook, tossing occasionally, for 2–3 minutes until the shrimp begin to turn pink and opaque.
Add the lemon juice, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce over the shrimp. Toss well to coat and cook for another 1–2 minutes until the shrimp are fully cooked and nicely glazed.
Serve hot. Transfer to a platter and enjoy!
